It must have reset the card to some default setting or maybe something else happened. Then a few days ago, I saw there was a command software update, so I downloaded it thinking that it would solve the inaccessibility problem, not thinking it would reset the card or do any other damage. My guess is it started going undetected after a Windows update. I noticed a few weeks ago that I couldn't get into the Command menu, I would get that "your audio device cannot be detected" message at the bottom of the screen, but it was working fine so I let it be. RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB x 4 3000Mhz Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X299-E GAMING This has been over the course of a month after all. Have tried constantly sleeping and waking up the PC (this is a solution for others across Reddit, I have gotten no such results) Rolled back old drivers and updated with SBC on and looking for it, either way nothing happens. Uninstalled and reinstalled all associated software & drivers for these products, including any registry changes and so on using IObit Uninstaller. Disabled other on-board audio except for AE-5 & Katana Here are the solutions I tried but to no avail. It seems to be a SBC issue, but i could be wrong. The card lights up but only in a static red color. The program simply does not detect the card, apparently. Audio processes just fine through my sound blaster katana, headphones, and through optical. No alert flags or problems, Windows reports as "This device is working correctly". This card is detected through Windows & Device manager. After the next cold reboot, undetected since about a month ago. The sound was amazing, loud, and extraordinary for someone like me. This card was only detected once and worked properly when I first put it in my PC. I've also browsed through various Reddit threads with people having the same issue or something quite different. They have seemingly went silent since everything they were throwing at me wasn't working, lol. I've talked to Creative for weeks now (almost a month now!) through email, them giving me different possible fixes. No matter what I seem to do, I can't get it to show up.
